Outreach Offshore Ltd. (OOL) are pleased to announce that Andrew McCall has joined the team as Head of Marine Operations, bringing more than 20 years of engineering experience, technical expertise and leadership to the business.

In his new position, Andy will oversee and support Outreach Offshore’s marine and quayside operations, playing an important role in the continued development and delivery of our services to clients across the offshore energy sector.

Andy brings a wealth of experience in design and engineering, with a background spanning specialist crane design and installation, mechanical engineering and senior engineering positions within the construction equipment industry. His extensive knowledge of lifting equipment, combined with his practical understanding of engineering processes and operational requirements, makes him a valuable addition to the Outreach Offshore team.

Most recently, Andy held the position of Principal Design Engineer at Volvo Construction Equipment, where he contributed to product development, technical innovation and continuous improvement. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong understanding of complex engineering systems and the importance of maintaining high standards of safety, quality and performance.

As Head of Marine Operations, Andy will take responsibility for supporting and developing our marine and quayside crane operations, with a particular focus on operational excellence, engineering standards and delivering effective solutions for our clients. His experience will also play an important role in supporting current projects and future contracts, working closely with our offshore energy clients to understand their requirements and provide the technical expertise needed throughout each stage of their operations.

A key part of Andy’s role will be working alongside Outreach Offshore’s established Service Team to strengthen the support we provide across our range of products and services. From the supply and installation of cranes and lifting equipment to ongoing maintenance, servicing and operational support, the team is committed to providing reliable, knowledgeable and responsive assistance to clients.

His appointment further strengthens our capabilities in marine operations, allowing us to bring together specialist engineering knowledge and practical operational experience to deliver the highest possible level of support. By combining Andy’s technical background with the experience already established within our team, we aim to continue developing our offering and meeting the evolving demands of the offshore industry.
