Spare parts are essential for keeping equipment functioning, however, the locality and availability is key to your equipment’s continuous operation. Outreach Offshore recommends tailored spares packages aligned with how you use your equipment, that will identify items that could fail during the lifetime of the equipment, such as hoist ropes, safety latches, sensors, filters, load hold valves and other components that can be easily damaged in lifting operations. Other components to consider, which may have longer lead times e.g. pumps, cylinders and motors, especially if DNV classed, some could have 12 weeks or more lead time.
It is also recommended to keep a stock of spare parts that regularly need replacing due to normal wear and tear, which are small enough to be stored on-site without using up valuable storage space and have a long shelf life. Understanding the crane history and duty is key to providing the correct level of spares.
By including our packages, you can also reduce overall cost as there is less requirement for frequent carriage charges. However, specific parts can be requested based on your needs.
