Outreach Offshore to Join Workboat Association to Provide Lifting Expertise
Outreach Offshore Ltd is proud to announce that we are officially becoming a member of the Workboat Association as of September 2020. The Workboat Association is the trade, skills, and safety standards association for the workboat industry. Formed in 1994, the association supports its members in achieving the highest quality standards of practice while facilitating the networking of industry members.
As a specialist lifting solutions provider for the marine industry, we are well placed to meet the requirements of the association members, and aid with health and safety requirements onboard any workboat vessel. Outreach Offshore has provided tried and tested products into the marine sector for many years, as the Palfinger Marine dealer for the UK. We have the capability to provide world-class sector bespoke, quality lifting equipment solutions that meet the highest standards.
Outreach Offshore currently supply equipment into related sectors, such as aquaculture and wind energy CTV vessels, we have the knowledge and understanding of the specific environmental and operational conditions and applicable sea states that our equipment will be subject to whilst onboard a work class vessel. This understanding of technical capability can enhance the capability of the workboat to ensure it matches the demands of whatever project or task it will need to fulfil. Our attention to detail will match specific requirements, whether it is a tailored control system, man riding capability or for a class requirement, we can create a package and solution that suits. We also offer tailored training, which is ALLMI accredited crane operator training, that is delivered on board the vessel, coupled with spare parts packages to suit every application.
Outreach Offshore are looking to use our extensive knowledge and understanding of lifting equipment solutions, learned through many years supporting oil and gas, wind energy and other specialist sectors by taking this back into our grassroots expertise of marine vessel cranes. We see aquaculture as an area where our expertise and affordable crane ranges can support an industry that demands quality but also provides value for money. This is further enhanced by our service support and parts team who provide through-life support.
This is an exciting move for Outreach Offshore, as we aim to not only contribute to the increase in standards in the industry through our equipment but also further develop our own ability to provide our products and services into a diverse and dynamic sector that we see evolving through health and safety needs and new standards as they develop.
